The nose and the tongue are the only two places a child has to make a decision, which is why this is the one to hand over when the pens come out and patience is short. Here is puppy face in 7 steps.
Draw a wide rounded shape for the head, flatter across the top.
Hang a long floppy ear down each side, past the jaw.
Place the two round eyes well apart, with a highlight left in each.
Draw the large nose between and below them.
Open the smile under the nose and drop the tongue out of it.
Add the line of the muzzle either side of the nose.
Finish with the tuft of hair on top of the head.
