Draw the balloon high on the page, a rounded teardrop.
Add the knot at its base and run the string down.
Put the dog's head at the bottom of the string, mouth closed on it.
Add the ear folded over and the eye.
Draw the body low and long, close to the ground.
Add the four short legs beneath it.
Curl the tail up at the back.
Finish with the shine mark on the balloon.
