Start with the head in profile, muzzle toward the middle of the page.
Lay the ears back along the head rather than upright.
Add the eye and the line of the cheek.
Curve the back over and down to the haunch.
Bring both front paws up toward the mouth.
Draw the carrot held between them, pointing down.
Add the leafy top sprouting from its wide end.
Finish with the back foot and the fluffy tail.
