No body to get out of proportion, which is where a first Stitch usually goes wrong. Blown up large this Stitch face drawing works as a door sign; shrunk down it fits a card. The ears take almost half the page, so a child colors the biggest area first and the detail work is all in the eyes and the teeth. For the whole character, the seated one adds a body.

Sweep the left ear up and out, wide at the base.
Mirror the right ear, notching one edge.
Place the two large ovals for the eyes.
Add the wide nose between and below them.
Curve the open mouth under the nose.
Line the teeth along the top of the mouth.
