A princess page is mostly a dress, and a dress is the first thing a child draws that has folds in it rather than an outline. That is what this collection is really teaching. It runs from a crown with nobody under it, which takes ten minutes, to a gown drawn fold by fold that takes an evening, with Elsa, Ariel, Moana, Jasmine, Cinderella and Rapunzel in between.

The princess crown has no face to get wrong and cuts out as a paper one afterwards. Princess Elsa and Princess Moana are the two easiest figures.
The seated ones
Moana sits cross legged and Jasmine kneels with her ponytail tied in sections. Sitting removes the hardest part of drawing a person, which is standing her up.
Where the texture is
Ariel puts long locks of hair against overlapping scales, and Cinderella spreads a ball gown across most of the sheet in folds.
The long ones
Rapunzel leans from a brick tower with her braid running the full height of the page. The princess in a ball gown is drawn fold by fold and wants pencils.

Common questions
Which princess is easiest to draw?
Moana sitting cross legged, because the legs are folded in front and never have to hold her up. Elsa is next: one broad dress, one braid, and a snowflake above her open hand.
How do you color a princess dress so it does not look flat?
Use two tones of the same color and follow the folds, keeping the lighter one along the ridge of each fold. Cinderella and the ball gown are both built for that and both want pencils rather than markers.
Is there a princess page without a person on it?
The princess crown: five points, round tips and a heart set into the band. It takes ten minutes, it cuts out and stands up as a paper crown, and it is where a four-year-old should start.
