Here is spider on a thread in 7 steps.

Draw the vertical thread first, from the top of the page down.

Add the round body hanging at the bottom of it.

Place the two large eyes and the small smile.

Draw four legs on the left, each bending down then out.

Mirror them on the right, keeping the spacing even.

Draw the corner web as arcs crossed by straight spokes.

Finish with the small bat flying on the other side.
