One shape, one repeated stripe, and a bow tied across the stem with a smiling face on it, which is why it suits a three year old who wants to join in at Christmas. The stripes run diagonally and keep the same angle all the way round the hook, the only rule on the sheet. This candy cane drawing is all big, easy shapes. The elf carries one too.
