Here is christmas gnome in 8 steps.
Draw the large rounded hat first, drooping to one side with its bobble.
Set the brim across the middle of the face.
Place the two big eyes just below the brim.
Add the round nose between them, larger than you expect.

Add the two small hands holding the present in front.
